Poster art for Theatre Britain’s 2011 Christmas panto, Dick Whittington. We started early this year!
This year’s artwork for Theatre Britain’s annual Christmas panto (Scroll down the page to see last year’s art). I’ve been a fan of Theatre Britain’s panto performances for many years so I am delighted to have the honor of doing the art for their posters, postcards and programs. My nieces and I have seen every holiday offering for the past seven years; our group now numbers a couple of dozen people. If you love to laugh at silly things, you should go!

Revamped version of “Queen Mary”, the brand image for a line of cocktail mixes by Drinkology. My client loved the original, pictured below, but came to me after someone mentioned that she looked a “little prim”. (I agreed!) So I lost the hat and gave her a little cleavage. Va-voom!

The black and white version of the brand image for a new cocktail mix, “New Orleans Style Garden District Bloody Mary Mix” from Drinkology. Coming soon to a liquor store near you! See the color version here.
The black and white version of an illustration for Laura Ainsworth and Michael Gott’s Cole Porter revue, “Elegance and Decadence”. Check out the color version here.
A fun project recently completed for Buster’s Friends, a non-profit pet rescue foundation.
Yet another cat – this is the artwork for Theatre Britain’s 2009 panto offering “Puss in Boots”. I’ve been a big fan of Theatre Britain for quite a few years now for their enthusiastic effort to bring the very silly and very fun British Christmas tradition of panto to Dallas audiences. If you’ve got kids, you should take them this year. It’s a hoot! Also enjoyable for adults with a sense of fun. If you self-identify with sticks-in-the-mud, though, you should give it a miss.
