June 2011 – Me with my art wares at the Dallas Museum of Art’s BookFest. Ton of fun!

November 2010 - Holiday hair! Have to share this as it’s not likely to happen again. Or maybe it will! Treated myself to some “manic panic” in Rock n’ Roll Red and this was the result. It’s now fading out to odd shades of tangerine orange and Mercurochrome pink. It’s like having a science experiment on my head.

My friend Wiz once told me that who I am could be summed up by a quote by the French novelist Emile Zola: “If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I, an artist, will answer you: I am here to live out loud.”

If you ask me why I am here it’s because this is another place I can share some of my art in whatever form it may take. As much satisfaction as I get out of the act of creating, my joy is multiplied when I know others have gotten pleasure out of it as well.
